Inaugural TVRA Baseball All-Star Game Wraps Up 2024 Season

On a beautiful, sunny June 13th, TVRA hosted the inaugural Baseball All-Star Game at historic Labatt Park. The event featured a thrilling matchup between the Central conference all-stars and the Southeast conference all-stars in the “Battle for the Valley.” After a hard-fought seven innings, the Central conference emerged victorious. The baseball SAC eagerly anticipates making the all-star game an annual tradition, with hosting duties rotating between conferences.

During the game, TVRA Baseball proudly recognized the winners of the “Mr. Baseball” Award. Congratulations to Trent Lamb of Glendale HS and Myles Adamson of Oakridge SS for earning this prestigious honor.

This game marks the conclusion of a highly successful 2024 baseball season, which saw a record-breaking 32 schools competing across the region. Championship-winning teams included College Avenue SS (Southeast conference tier 1), Oakridge SS (Central tier 1), St. Andre Bessette CSS (Central tier 2), and St. Joseph’s CHS (Southeast tier 2).

We extend a heartfelt thank you to all the coaches and officials for their unwavering support of baseball in Thames Valley. A special acknowledgment goes to our convenors, Taylor Jones, Sean Latimer, and Joe Cortese, for their exceptional dedication and hard work throughout the season. They are the PRIME reason this sport continues to flourish and grow in TVRA!
