Congratulations to Ellery Beilhartz of East Elgin on being named the TVRA Southeast winner of the
Ms. Basketball award for 2023. Here are some of her many basketball accomplishments throughout
her outstanding high school career:
· Has started on the senior team since grade 9
· Went undefeated through the entirety of her high school career in both league play and playoffs
· Has been a senior team captain for the past two seasons
· Averaged 18 points, 8 assists, and 6 steals per game this year
· Is a two-time MVP of East Elgin’s senior team
· Is a three-time Southeast champion
· Is a two time TVDSB All Star selection
· Has two senior basketball WOSSAA silver medals, one senior WOSSAA gold medal, and played in
two OFSAA quarter-finals
Ellery has been a group leader that her fellow teammates greatly rely on. She encourages others to
improve and sends a strong message through her overall work ethic. Ellery is a very humble
student-athlete who thrives with any challenge. She has proven to be very determined and driven to
succeed. Ellery has actively given back to the East Elgin basketball program, and the surrounding
area. Ellery has led many camps with the East Elgin Youth Basketball Club. She also coached the
grade 7/8 youth team in 2023. From 2019 – 2023 Ellery co-led multiple summer camps (grades 5 –
12) for former London Lightning Asst. and current Michigan State Asst. Coach Michael Provenzano’s
Chaining and Training basketball program. Ellery is considering multiple offers to play
post-secondary basketball. Good luck, Ellery!
