On Wednesday May 11th, 75 student athletes, representing 10 different schools, took part in the 2022 TVRA Tri-County Tennis Championships, at Pinafore Park in St. Thomas. This event has not run for two years, so it was great to see so many athletes participating, and the weather could not have been better. Below is a picture of the Mixed Doubles Champions, Sheldon Geerts and Holly Brulotte from Lord Dorchester Secondary School. Towering over them is Luka Palajsa, also from Lord Dorchester, who placed second in the Men’s Singles division.

Parkside Collegiate Institute took home the TEAM PRIZE, edging out both East Elgin and Glendale by one point. Congratulations to all the top finishers and good luck at WOSSAA on May 19th.
