This was a season when the tables turned for Medway Cowboys Rugby. The team mowed through the competition all season long, amassing a perfect record of 23-0-1, outscoring the opposition by a staggering number. This time the Medway Cowboys Rugby commitment was rewarded with the OFSAA Gold Medal it merited.
At the field, it was realized what reaching the final had meant to so many people and how much winning gold would mean. This was for all the players and supporters that soldiered with Medway Cowboys Rugby over the years. Suiting of that reality, anyone at the gold medal game that donned the Cowboys jersey in the past took a photo with the team after the victory that finally brought the Gold home.
Everyone is so massively proud of this team of men who made the dream come true. No longer are they the nearly men, they are the main men. They are the Champions of Ontario. Medway Cowboys Rugby are your 2018 OFSAA Gold Medalist!
