The TVDSB SouthEast Ms Soccer award was presented to Paisley McGugan of Parkside. Ashlyn Kadlecik of Oakridge is Ms Soccer in TVDSB Central. Congratulations to Madison Fisher of Medway, Sarah McPhail and Arden McPhail of Laurier who were also nominated in TVDSB Central.

The Oakridge Oaks have repeated as TVDSB Baseball Champions. The Oaks also won the WOSSAA title and move on to the OFSAA Regional playoff in Windsor.

The Laurier Rams are TVDSB AAA Boys Champions after defeating the Clarke Road Trojans. Both teams continue play at WOSSAA on May 25. The Oakridge Oaks defeated the Lucas Vikings in a close 3-2 championship TVDSB AAA Girls match. The Oaks also won the WOSSAA title and are now headed to OFSAA The South Lions are TVDSB AA Boys Champions after defeating the Montcalm Cougars in the final match.

The Medway Girls Hockey Team finished the 2016-2017 season with an impressive run winning 25 straight games, including 12 league games, a TVDSB Championship, a WOSSAA Championship, and a OFSAA GOLD medal! The Banting Bronco Swim Team continued to “make waves” in the pool this year winning both the Mens’ and Womens’ Open Division Banners at OFSAA.  This is Banting’s fourth OFSAA Championship banner in the past three years.
